Buck_110,
Do you have "The Story of Buck Knives" by Tom Ables? If so, could you turn to page 106, there's a picture of 2 110's and 2 112's...the 110's are 4 dot tang stamps. From the pictures can you tell which are radiused and which ones are not. I need to get a better handle on differentiating between the two. Help and input is always appreciated:)

Here's a photo of an early version without the thumb area radiused. I don't have a later version.

I took a look at the pictures in the Story Of Buck Knives and it really is hard to tell for sure. If I had to guess, I would say the finger grooved 110 is hand radiused. You really need a angle that shows the thumb depression area straight on.

I am looking at two four dot 110's from my collection. One is a standard and the other is a finger groove model. While the thumb depression area on both are not radiused, the other areas that are radiused look more severe on the finger groove model. I have no idea as to the significance of this (if there is any) but is just an observation.

O.K.,I'm trying to follow. Radiused, is hand radiused, around the thumb depression on the frame, as well as the finger grooves. Does this knife fit the unradiused version of the 110 4 dot F/G?

Thanks Buck_110. I did the comparison with a 2 dot, all squared off edges on the frame. My 4 dot F/G is radiused, very little on the thumb depression, but more noticeable on the bolsters.
