HELP! Having hard time sharpening my SOG

I've a quite a few SOG in my collection. Sog North West Ranger and SOG dessert dagger that I use all the time. Also, Sog Tech bowie. First two are Japanese made. All Aus 6 and Aus 6 steel. Having very hard time sharpen them with leather strops, cermaics and steel rod. Please advice how I bring them to hair popping sharpness.
 
I had lots of issues sharpening my seal pups but if you get a good stone and practice keeping a constant angle you will improve with time.
 
Thanks guys. I was wandering why it is sharpening this AUS steel is so hard. If SOG knives were easy to sharpening them, I would have used them for EDC all the time instead of my high end custom knives. I know I can sharpen them using Japanese honing stone, but this should be easy when sharpening the blade in the field. Any of you guys found a quicker and easier way.
