So, trying to post photos to sell blades but am having difficulty because images are too big or unable to link from Facebook page where my stuff is usually posted. Being careful about rules and not wanting to break them. I tried right clicking photo to copy URL and then pasting onto insert image dialog box but am getting nowhere. Any tips? Am also trying to find answers in FAQs, but of you guys could point me the right way or any help, would be most appreciated.

This should help

Photo hosting pictures

Paid members can upload pictures from their computers, but anyone can open a photo hosting account.

1. I use www.photobucket.com .

Download your pictures.
Go to your Photobucket album.
Click on the picture you want.
Go to the right and see Links to share this photo
Left click on IMG. It will flash Copied. Paste into your post.

2. Another way: go to http://www.imgur.com and upload your image.
After uploading, select the BBCode option - it starts with .
Copy & Paste to your thread.

3. You should also [URL="http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/353471-READ-THIS-FIRST!-How-to-ask-questions-that-get-answered"]READ THIS FIRST! How to ask questions that get answered[/URL] which includes photo posting instructions.

I use Imgur. I have no idea how the others work. But once you upload your image into Imgur, you can select the size. Once you do that, it will give you multiple formats to copy the URL. One of the URL formats is for message boards and forums. If you copy that one, you can just paste it in your post without having to select "attach image". It is already done for you by Imgur.

I think if you just copy a URL, I think you are stuck with the size of the image you copied. If you copy the URL and upload it into Imgur, you can change the size to whatever you want.

I hope at least some of that made sense. I am sure if you were in Imgur, it would be easier to see what I am trying to explain.

I too enjoyed the caveman lawyer reference and feel confused by this modern technology!

I have Flikr and have tried everything I have found posted here and the closest I have gotten is an attachment that has to be clicked on, what am I doing wrong?
