Help - I am unable to start a thread in GBU

I have tried to start a thread in GB&U a number of times (six or seven) in the past hour and have been unable to do so.

Every thing seems to go OK until, after I compose the post and click on "Submit" the next page indicates that everything is OK and that I will be redirected. When redirected my new thread does not appear.

I have tried everything that I can think of between attempts but nothing seems to work. I have closed and reopened my browser, rebooted my computer, etc.

Help.

That's weird. I don't understand why you were able to post here but not in TGB&U. Spark?

Cougar, Spark, thanks for your prompt responses.

It would seem that I should be old enough by now to know to read ALL of the instructions, but apparently not. This time I changed the user group after the email address step, as instructed, and was able to post my thread in GB&U. Amazing!

However, I don't understand why I am getting this "bounced email" problem. It is the same email address that I have been using for a few years now, and as far as I know nothing has changed about my settings, connections, preferences, etc.

It is a mystery to me, also, as to why I could initiate this thread but not initiate a thread in GB&U. Intuition says that it was allowed in this forum in order to group dumb questions, such as mine, in one convenient location for attention as needed

The bounced email group is a new thing -- next time I'll know.

The idea is you can only post here in Bladeforums Service & Support until you deal with the problem.

Maybe your email server was only bouncing messages for a brief period before somebody there fixed it....
