There was one posted about a year ago, but the picture can no longer be shown. Ann recently posted pics if gold coins, but the picture is kind of fuzzy. I'd really like some one to post a good pic. Thanks.

. . .sorry. . .hit the wrong button ! Give me a few minutes to try it again. :D

I think that this edition of the Gold Coin Sebenza series is the ultimate in showing the skill of the machinist. The maple leaves
are simply incredible; it must have taken an incredible amount of
time and effort to set up the mill to make the cuts, which are,
as always, perfect. Even with a multi-axis mill, I still find it hard to visualize exactly how these cuts were made! I believe that this was the last of the series to be done by Scott Cook.

Just to set the record straight, the concept of the Maple Leaves was Chris' and the CAD was written by our machinist, Merlin DeMill. Scott would have been involved in the assembly of the knives, the work on the damascus and the coloring of the handle but he was not involved with the actual design or the machining.

Thanks for the clarification, Anne. Sorry for not crediting Merlin, who is obviously a magician on the mill. Simply superb work!

What an ugly knife;) Anyone want to trade for a quality knife like my blue handled Delica?:p :D

Quite a knife though...:) I have always liked the raindrop Damascus pattern. Question is though, does anyone use a knife like this as an EDC?

I use my Small Wood Damascus Sebi as an EDC, but would I have the courage to use a knife like this? I just don't know!
