Just picked up a brand new Camillus/Becker 10 Crewman, sans sheath. Anyone know where I can get a replacement or good aftermarket sheath? Any suggestions appreciated.

Thanks

What kind of sheath are you looking for? Nylon, Kydex, Leather, Hybrid? How much are you looking to spend? We have some AMAZING craftsmen and artists on this forum that offer great aftermarket stuff; Azwelke, MWTIC (Nix), Skystorm, and many others who's names escape me (apologies). You really can't go wrong with any of their sheath offerings, and quite often you can have it tailored to your specific needs, carry style and accessory preferences. Welcome to the forum...er welcome to POSTING on the forum lol.

I've looked at the pancake Azwelke, but am unsure of a carry style. Any recommendations? Also, what is the opinion of the Spec Ops sheaths?

Spec Ops is great, probably the best nylon sheath on the market IMO, though Texas Hunt Co. sells the SAME sheath for nearly half the price. They are made in the same place by the same people, but one is marketed to military ($$$$) and the other is marketed to hunters ($). I've got a large Texas Hunt Co sheath for my BK7, and honestly I love it as much as I love the knife. The F&F on it is amazing, and the materials are as durable as they can be.

I went to the ESEE site, and the only molle setup is for the izula knife. Will this fit the Azwelke sheath?

The Spec OPS SMALL cOMBAT SHEATH (5-6 inch) IS PERFECT or the BK10, I have one in Multicam. Perfect Fit. Al makes great kydex sheaths with multiple options for carry on one sheath, I have several of his for my Beckers.

I've looked at the pancake Azwelke, but am unsure of a carry style. Any recommendations? Also, what is the opinion of the Spec Ops sheaths?

I checked ou the Tx Hunt Company but could not find the Spec Ops Sheath? Maybe they stop carrying them? I am interested in getting another one but less expensive. But thanks for the tip.

Hey Clich, that 10 sheath looks alot like the sheathes Moose used to make for the 2. Looks good, simple to the point.

Lots of good options. Azwelke or Mashed Cat for Kydex, Skystorm (or MWTIC once his shop gets up and running again) for leather. Personally, I'd go Kydex. All kinds of mounting options for one of those.

After much thought I've decided to get the Spec Ops sheath- seems to cover all the things I wanted for a sheath. Thanks for the help and recommendations! Now for Micarta handles- any suggestions?

Either the factory micarta or Saint Cutlery micarta off of ebay. The Saint scales are wider than the factory scales, so some sheaths will have to be made especially for them. I know AZWelke makes sheaths for the Saint scales. I have one.

If you want a factory-sized grip for ease of sheathing, the factory micarta is the way to go.

I'm assuming that the micarta handles that all the dealers offer for Becker will work on mine? I know mine is made by Camillus and they're now being made by K bar, so are the specs the same?

Their holes are the same, and the handle shape is the same, and if it's not you can always sand it down to fit...
