Help ID a clip

Found this on the ground at the park with the little ones. I'm just curious as to what knife the individual was carrying.

The clip is not at all like my resilience and looks like a usa-made clip very similar to a paramilitary clip besides the lanyard hole cut through it.

I already had my five year old looking around in the wood chips for a knife with me lol. She was just as excited.
