Sorry, let me clarify.... I was wondering about the qty made, etc.... it is numbered "30" of how many? This blade also has markings that the standard blade does not have.... Was this a limited run? Was it a pre production run?

Yup, there is not too many of those about. EKI made a Titanium La Griffe the same way but there was verry few of those made.

I dont know actual production numbers but its worth holding on to :thumbup:

Warren Thomas is the boy for that sort of thing, his laminate CF/G10 Ti blades are pretty much the way forward for Titanium knives.

The EKI Ti La Griffe would be well sweet to have as partner for that kerambit :thumbup:

definitely not the best blade material, and the edge holding, even with the carbide, is marginal. but i do agree, on the cool factor, its right off the charts. i had one of the bm cqc 7's in ti/carbide. very cool toy.

the wt's are really something else, though. like haze said, he is really on the cutting edge.


speculating, but probably under 200 total knives made.

pretty cool for a SD edc knife where the edge retention is unimportant, i have heard tell of the EKI ti k'bits but IIRC have never even seen a pic, i doubt many were made, i too would say 2-300 tops.
