Does anyone have any information on who may have made this knife? I think it is an older made knife. It has aluminum fittings and brass pins with a dark reddish brown type micarta scales. Maker mark is either SB or BS. Hold the BS jokes. lol Also has #5 on guard. It's 11 inches overall full tang with a 5 3/4 inch blade. It is well-made. Thanks

A total shot in the dark here, but I wonder if it could be one of Steve Brooks first knives (maybe his 5th knife). He marks his knives with an "S" and a "B" (example below), and his knives are all referred to by numbers.

The style of your knife is different from the rest of his that I see, and clearly the mark is a little different, but it's not unusual for a knife makers style to change, or for him to alter or even completely change his marking. Like I said, a shot in the dark.

I was going to suggest this as well based on my AZCK search. The letter placement and overall design difference made me refrain. But looking at the OP knife made me think maybe the stamp was moved to compensate for the pin placement.
