Help ID or provide more info... Russell and "Original Bowie Knife"

My father just sent hese to me:

This knife was in the barn when we moved into the property in 1981. We believe that it was used to cut bale string.

The two Russell's below came from our neighbor's workshop. He was a WWI vet and a shop teacher. I add that as we don't know if those are utility knives or kitchen knives.

Try asking for this thread to be moved to the Bernard Levine Knife Collecting and Identification subforum, where it belongs.
 
Top one is probably German 1950s.

The other two Russells may have some specific purpose, but appear to be utility knives.

The bottom blade is as stated on the blade, a Utica Sportsman, made in US. It's used up and ready to be recycled...or rehandled and used some more :)

As stated above, ask to be moved.
