Hello, I bought this odd ball Randall 14 months back. I am thinking about selling it! Its defin different!

Its numbered #3 and the guard is custom.. The sheath also states custom made by Sullivan .

I was thinking maybe this was a special run by company by Randall knives since its number and the guard has a really cool design plus it has brass texture on back of the guard to ensure you hand does not slip...

Also the blade has the top edge sharpened! Just wondering if any one has seen a special run of model #14s like this/?

Thank you!1000019175.jpg1000019182.jpg1000019178.jpg1000019181.jpg1000019176.jpg

Ty. I can't find anything when I goto randall shop maybe they will give me info

It looks like a forward curved guard someone used a checkering file to add the texture.

Most Randall knives have a sharpened top edge but they do not have a secondary edge bevel on the top.

It’s a replacement sheath.

The “3” is a mystery

Ty for feedback. Yea just gonna have to sit on this cool 14 and tske it to randall museum

Looks to me to have been a standard flat guard that has been bent forward to create a 'forward curved hilt'.
Notice the gaps between the brass and micarta which has been filled, this would not be there on a shop made FCH.
The sheath is a replacement from Sullivan made to fit the unusual guard shape.
The number is anyone's guess, maybe one of 3, or number 3 of who knows how many made.🤔
