Hi, Can you please help me ID some Kershaw knives. There are 50 (one for each state) and a US - 51 total, each with a different animal on each state's knife.
Can you give me some info? Model # or series would be great. I'm trying to find out the value of them too, how much should I pay. Any help would be much appreciated.

Pics? If you need help hosting the pics, send me an email at EMAIL REMOVED (remove the spaces and *) and I'll post them for you.

I dunno what they would be worth as a full set, but if you decide to break the set I'll take the Virginia, North Carolina, Kentucky and West Virginia knives!

Here's some of the specs on them: The knife itself is a McKinley Lock Back. Steel - AUS6A, Handle - Satin finished Stainless Steel, Blade - 2-3/8", Closed - 3", Weight - 1.9 oz.

The New York knife recently sold for $ 12 and there was also a 50 Year Duck Stamp model that sold recently. It had satin finished stainless handles with a picture of the 50th anniversary Migratory Bird Hunting and Conservation Stamp from 1984 on one side and "1934-1984 50 YEARS OF BUYING WETLANDS FOR WILDLIFE" on the other. It came in the box also with an unused 1984 $7.50 Duck Stamp. IIRC it sold for about $ 30.

And welcome to the forums!

Those were model # 5200SS "Stateside Knives" they were from about 1988 and had a suggested retail of $29.95 each. They don't seem to have much appeal to collectors , but they are pretty cool. I would think $10 to $20 each. If I was buying the whole collection , I would start at $10 each and work from there .

the Mckinley had a 3" blade and was 4" closed. The Rainier is the same as the stateside and is model # 5200S.

I bought the knives, I plan on selling them on Ebay... unless there is a better place to sell them. I think I will try and sell them all together first, if they dont do well, I will post them individually.
Thank you everybody for your expertise!

Good luck with your sale planit0, and if you can't unload them as a set, please see my first statement in post #4 above!
