Hi all,

My father gave me this old folder that his father gave to him and I was hoping some of the good people here could help me identify it. Unfortunately, it is difficult to see the engraving marks because of the rusting but I believe one of the markings show "D2067"(however, the "6" could be an "8"). I would love to get as much information on this knife as I can, especially the year. We just had our fist child and I hope to give it to him one day. Next step is finding someone that can help bring this back to life!

Hi; your knife is a 52087 SS, stag handled jack knife, released as part of the "Blue Scroll" stag sets in 1977-78. The knives were made in 1977 and released to the market in 1978. I don't know the exact quantity made off hand but in the range of 15,000. It was one knife out of an eight knife release, all with stag handles and the "blue scroll" blade etch.

Most of the knives were made in 1977 but some were made in 1978. Below the USA on front you will see some dots - if there are three it was made in 77, if there are two it was 78.

Ok, thank you very much of the information! My dad must have been mistaken because he thought he had gotten it when he was younger. Thanks again.
