Hi there everyone,

Just curious to know whose mark is this?

Unknown Kami.jpg

Thanks so much! Much appreciated. :)

Yes Jay, I looked at the Nepali alphabets and compared them to known Sher kami marks and it looked similar. It's just the 'rising sun' mark didn't match. Interesting. Thanks Jay.

Sher has a tendency for overbuilt khukuris (his version is a lot different) and he used S.B(Sher Bahadur) before he changed it to Devanagari.

Nice, wonder which Khukuris he usually builds?

I don't know if it is by chance or what, but I have been wondering if certain Kamis stick to certain styles.

Both of my Sirus are by Tirtha

Both of my ASTKs and my CAKs are by Lacchu

BAS I gifted to cousin was by Lokendra, which I see on these forums a lot also

Hi Falar,

He built many types and was one of the very few creative ones to make one-of-a-kind blade.
I owned one of his M-43I, sotang (a hybrid of Chitlange and Gelbu) and my beloved Salyan.

His stuff is known to be indestructible.
