It is a custom, French I believe

Could be a Gazelle, could be an LM - interesting knife. Any hints about where you found it, or anything that might steer our search?

Hmm, that owner is in Sofia Bulgaria, so it could well be an Eastern european custom maker we just won't stumble across here... that might help direct the search though.
 
I contacted the owner of the knife and this is the info he gave me. I also have his email if anyone else is interested.

The knife is made by Bulgarian knife maker Stoil Manchev - well known here in Bulgaria as "Silverman" - RWL 34 steel blade on 62HRc and premium grade amboina wood scales.

Searcing on his name, there seem to be a lot of videos out there, of him in his knifemaking process.
