Help identifiying my kukri. Dui Chirra or not?

I bought a Dui Chirra by Thamar on DOD "10 Blems and 2 used Knives for 11/02" http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1338594-10-Blems-and-2-used-Knives-for-11-02?p=15378176#post15378176 It was listed as : 18 inch 27 ounce dui chirra by Thamar. Natural wood grain mark on handle and loose sheath. Steel cost at $75.

But i am pretty sure it aint made by Thamar. Because the Kami mark has a bull with horns or something similar, and not a swastika. If i am correct the "bull" is Purnas mark. When i compare my kukri with pictures here. Sometimes i thinks it looks very similar to a foxy folly. And other times not. But maybe its a Dui Chirra by Purna and not a foxy folly. I have no idea.

I will make a complete video of my 6 HI kukris as soon as i get my last order, that is a Tin Chirra by Thamar. I Hope i get it this week by the way. The holidays has made the delivery a little bit slow. I am eager to get it and put it to my collection.

Anyway, i would be greatfull if the experts here could give me a suggestion of what it can be. See this clip i made.

It looks like a foxy to me, but don't quote me on that!

If you got that Foxy instead of a Dui at $75.00! What a steal!

The kami mark is definitely Purna.
 
That's a Foxy Folly by Purna. If you got it for $75, it's got to be one of the best deals of 2015.

I was right on Purna. good to know. Yes, i am no expert. But its look like a FF for sure. Even with my untrained kukri eyes.
 
I agree that it looks like a Purna Foxy, but it has a bit more of a hump than the usual FF, IMO. Plus, every Foxy is still technically a Dui Chirra. Regardless, you got a great deal on a beautiful knife. Congrats man :)
 
Man thats a gorgeous Purna FF in my opinion. Can I have it? JK... Grats man! That was a steel?
 
i see a defect* in that video. send it to me and i'll eventually fix it and send it back in a few centuries.


don't let ballistol read the following:
(* - the defect is readily apparent, it's in the wrong hand - it should be mine, i would love it and hug it and squeeze it and rub it with ballistol and name my future children after it and generally treat it better than ndog, and it will have lots of family & company.)

oh, i can argue, but he might use it on me.

p.s. - i'll have to ask charlton if he'll send me that long rifle. looks cool. i have a chance he just might take pity on poor little unarmed (but despicable) me.

p.s. - at least if ballistol has it in his cold hands, it won't rust. a good coat of ballistol is good for most weapons & tools.

i seem to recall a rather racey video of a chimp with a frog that would have worked better with lubrication.

Well, maybe not *entirely* joking but I am patiently waiting for my first full size Khukuri. Can't wait!
