help identify a knife

I recently found a knife i thought i lost years ago it is an ENSIGN knife i won in a contest in gun world magazine almost thirty years ago. nice little drop point in 440. the sheath has ENSIGN-H stamped on it. does anyone know the history of this knife and it's value 9Not for sale by the way, just curious,) I want to give it to a friend and would like to let him know about the knife.
