I picked up a Sak from an older man that ran a flea market. He said this knife was either one he carried in the 50s when he was in the boy scouts or it was one he had later on when he was a boy scout leader, that he couldn't remember which knife it was for sure. Anyway, he only wanted $10 for it. I "think" i narrowed it down to a Swiss Champ? Probably the later one he used as an adult scout leader. Probably go back and look through his case again.
The only problems are the scissors are broken and it has a file that is a little rusty and the very tip of it is broken, but it is at least broken straight so it could be used as a screwdriver.
Here are some pics(hopefully) if I can get them to load. The only tool not opened on the knife in the pic is the wire reamer on the back(corkscrew) side which was being stubborn at the time of the pic.

Looks like a Swiss champ to me. Also must be from the time when he was a scout leader because the knife is not that old.

Thanks guys.
I am new to Saks. I'm going to go back and look again, he had a couple of classics and a non-red swiss army-type knife in the case. Thinking that one could be the one he used as a young boy and I could have overlooked it thinking it was a knock off since I don't know anything about them.
Anyway, I really like the functions of this one. Seems to have about everything I would ever need. I like how it has the cork screw plus phillips and saw and a fish scaler. I've Edc'd it for 4 days and it's growing on me.
Would it be worth it to send it in and get the scissors replaced and have the file/metal saw replaced since it is rusty and the tip broken and have a perfect knife? Any idea how much this would cost and how long it would take?
Or is this something I could do myself? Was wondering if I could get a cheap used chinese type classic and, snip the scissor off and jb weld it in place on mine where it is broken and add a spring?
Appreciate any advice on restoring it.

Since they have a lifetime guarantee and all parts for this model are still available, I would suggest sending it to Vic for a refurbish. Check with them, but this might be free of charge.
