I just got an SAK I ordered from ebay. It was billed as a Super Tinker but I have doubts about that. For starters there's no parcel hook next to the screwdriver and the awl. In its place is nothing but a very thick aluminum spacer. Secondly the bottle opener/screwdriver/wire stripper tool has no half click option when opening. Instead it simply swings all the way open like the can opener tool. And third the awl lacks the eye hole of other models.

Does anybody know just what this model is?

Probably is an older one. I don't carry it anymore (carry a Leatherman now), but my old 'Super Tinker' has a big blade, a small blade, can opener, bottle opener, phillips driver, and awl (with hole). It has a lanyard attachment, tweezers, and toothpick. There was a (non-Super) Tinker also, that I think I had at one point and lost. I don't remember what the difference was.

As others have said, it just sounds like an older version. IIRC the sewing eye in the awl came in in 1985, so yours will pre-date that. :)
