I am considering selling this knife but I forgot what model it is. Any help would be appreciated.

Ash-1 variant. May have been offered in a Ganza about 2 or so years ago...pretty sure that it is satin with handshaped olive/tan G-10.

Yes it is an ASH variant. I have never seen one like it. I am trying to identify what kind of ASH it is. It is a Satin blade with a beautiful handle. The knife is really nice. I emailed Busse today but have not heard back yet.

It's probably a one of a kind made through the custom shop with a .22" thick satin blade.

Maybe I'm not fully understanding you... You asked what model this is. It is an ASH-1 that has been customized and modified by Busse... Hence, it is a custom variant. The Busse Custom Shop does all sorts of variants for shows and Ganza's out of standard knife model blanks. It might be a one off, or one of a few. What's the thickness of the spine on this variant? :)

I don't know what the thickness is. I know it's about as thick as my Battle Mistress. It is a nice knife. Beautiful shape.

So it does sounds just like a custom variant of ASH-1. COOL. I am glad it's pretty rare.

I can't see your image (The size indicated is probably to big to load for whatever reason) so I don't know exactly what those scales are. If your looking for an exact date and place of purchase, you may be able to trace it's history by asking the person you bought it from.

There aren't really 'types' of ash ones besides 'skinny' and 'fat'. There are many variants (customizations from the busse combat custom shop) but they all fall into the term 'Variant'. In this case 'clip point ash-1 variant'

Nice knife.

Sounds like you got your identification.

Keep in mind that to sell here at BFC you need a Gold Membership or above.

I understand. I was really just looking for help identifying the knife. I appreciate all the help from everyone. God Bless.

It can't be the thickness of any NMFBM, it might be close but more likely similar to the CG NMFBM at .25" but the ASH is probably more of .22", All ASH1 I have ever seen comes on or about .187" (skinnny ASH1,) .22" (limited editions, special editions, and variants) and the .32" which is the CG. There was never a .25" or .27"

There is at least one .25 or so out there, Saber ground, that a fine gentleman took and had surface ground to that thickness from a CG. It is a beaut, but was not born that way!
