help identify cookstove...

recent yardsale find
the gal didnt know anything about it
even where it came from(she assumed it was her dads-but he is gone now)

im assuming us military
anyone here tell me more?
id like to use tho its lots heavier than my tangia but nevertheless short day hikes or short overniters, i think id enjoy using it. but reckon it needs a thorough cleaning and overhaul. fuel????
the instruction sticker is mostly screwed up.
any help would be most appreciated. thanks

no other markings anywhere except knob "close" with arrow

That's an old Marine Corps issue "squad stove". I haven't seen or used one in years Mike

did some googling and found out a few things
(there are also numerous models up on the bay right now)
i really do wanna use this stove
coleman may (or may not) be sending an instruction manual and cleaning instructions
