My son recently bought a pocket knife from this guy at the county fair.
It is a 3inch long stainless steel blade in a black grip.

The grip seems to be a hard plastic-y rubber.

It has the knob for flicking open only on the right side and is a little difficult to open.
To close it has a metal piece on the opposite side to push in.

On one side it says Stainless and the other says China.

Hole at bottom for strap is poorly made with plastic strands inside
It came with a cheap velcro shut case

Cost 8$ total

There are alot, ALOT, of cheap folders coming out of china. If someone can I identify this, I'll give them mad props. To me I'd just chalk it up to the endless masses of knives coming out of their factories. Prolly the worst steel you can imagine, blade play out the yang... and frankly I wouldn't feel safe having a loved one use it.. There's just too many knives with proven reliable locks you can get for under $30. I had a friend who bought a really cheap knife at a gun show and the lock slipped and cut him to the bone.. be warned.
Sorry man.. wish I could be of more help.

It's an unbranded piece of junk from China. Dull the edge, toss it and get something from a reliable company.

It's really a shame, too. That knife looks like a great design. Little bit big for EDC, but that's why they invented cargo pants.

It looks like a really bad attempted at a BM griptilian, pehaps with a bit of Cold Steel thrown in. The knife would be best used for throwing IMO, throwing in the trash.....

I also bought a cheap pocket knife at an exhibition and ended up having to throw it in the garbage . It wouldn't open after a while.

How does someone "dull the edge" ? I know what it means but how do you do it ?

I would take it to work and use the bench grinder to grind the edge flat, then clamp the blade in the vise and see if I could break it. A lot of those cheap knives are so soft they just bend.

Were you thinking that you had stumbled on gold? :p

Seems like a troll. Always amazes me how people run into these bad knives/guns and think they're worthy of looking into. This is the age of the internet, information is at our fingertips.

People on this forum don't understand what trolling actually is. The OP probably doesn't know anything about knives, so he wondered what the knife was. People who troll do it for the lulz. There is nothing lulzy about this thread. The OP is not trolling.

I suggested dulling the edge so it doesn't accidentally cut someone if it opens up while in the garbage. You can dull the edge by scraping the knife on concrete, bricks, rocks, or a lot of things. You could also just tape it closed before throwing it away, or even throw it away in the junk sheath it came with. Too many people throw away things like razor blades and knives carelessly.

I'd almost believe he's trolling. I LOL'd when I read "It has the knob for flicking open only on the right side and is a little difficult to open." and even more at "On one side it says Stainless and the other says China. "... But I'll give the guy the benefit of the doubt. The brand of that knife is "CHINA", and it's the new "TRASH" model. I remember when I would win a knife at the fair, my dad would always get angry and take it away, this always made me very sad :(. There's few things that hurt worse than losing a cherished knife! Even if it's a POS it's YOUR knife. You should explain to him why the knife is dangerous I'm sure he'll understand.

I think enough has been posted regarding the inquiry. The serious answers have been dead on.
