I am new her and need your help. I have a Duane Dwyer custom that I bought yesterday and I was wondering if anyone can help me identify it and about what it is worth. Any help would be appreciated.

Overall length is 9 inches and blade is 4 inches. I will check that out. Know all I need to do is find out what it worth to see how bad I made out. Thank you.

You've answered this question when you bought it....to you it's worth whatever you paid for it.

Other than that you don't have the permissions as a Registered User to ask such a question....just sayin'.

Thank you Dawkind. New to customs and trying to learn.

Sorry to upset you.....just trying to keep you out of trouble with the Moderators. :)

From Bladeforums rules:

WHAT IS MY KNIFE / GADGET / SPATULA / TUNING FORK WORTH ?!?!?!?!

In order to curtail potential abuse of membership privileges associated with the forums, questions regarding valuation of knives and collections are limited to those with a membership level which permits selling on this site. Accordingly, registered and basic members may not start or post in threads with such requests whether with the intent to sell or for informational purposes only. This rule applies throughout the site.

In other words, without a paid Gold membership, you don't get to ask about sale values. Too many people abused this question to hint they had a knife for sale, which you need that membership for.

Call Strider Knives and ask Duane

Do you really think it is a great idea for somebody who thinks he just got screwed over on a knife deal to call the knife maker and ask him directly?

Absolutely. Duane is a great guy to talk to and very helpful.

And did he say he thinks he got "screwed over"?... I must have missed that

Yes he said "how bad I made out"- so you did miss it.

Duane is a super guy who I have known both personally and in business for 18 years.I can assure you he would not appreciate being asked how bad somebody made out buying one of his knives.

Get it now ?

No need to act snippy:rolleyes:

That is a figure of speech and yes a maker should always be willing to answer a question on a knife he made.

I had it from the beginning.
