Help Identify the maker of this Knife

Hi All,

I'm wondering if anyone can help me identify the knife maker of this knife. I got this probably 20 years back at a knife show in California, and it was stuck in a draw and totally forgotten till now.

the knife is mostly made of carbon fiber with the exception of part of the blade, at the back of the blade I think it's the knife maker's logo, I think it's a WP?

any clue would be greatly appreciated
