I was at a gunshow last weekend, and a guy there had about 60 microtechs, along with daltons, harkins, pirahnas, spydercos, etc. He showed me an auto with carbon fiber scales that would open like a manual, but if you slid the scales a little bit it would open as an auto. The slit was about 3/4 the way up the scale and was so close a fit, that it was invisible from any angle. What was this knife (I think it could be a microtech, but I'm not sure) and who else makes similar knives? Please post all you can think of along with the prices.

The MT-LCC is available as a DA and is also a favorite design to be copied by the Chinese, but I've only seen wooden scales.....never CF on the clones.
What was the asking price?

Thanks forumites, BTW I think he was asking somewhere in the mid to upper $200 range.

There is another DA that fits your description to a T. The only problem is that it has black G10 scales not carbon fiber. It is the Valloton designed Lone Wolf Val-Matic. Check it out here
