I am reaching out to see who has strong knowledge of old swiss army knives. I acquired one that is from the 1960s and is a wengerinox style. Additionally, as you all can see, the finish is very unique, either bone or some type of olive wood if I had to guess. If anyone can help me with this matter, please shoot me a message. The word document attached contains the pictures. https://uark-my.sharepoint.com/:w:/...tDqJySEmqekKcBgVyp9E36I5rzB-T-q4lNfA?e=MXLcDV

Thanks!

Welcome to B.F. 😁👍

Have you tried Sak Wiki?
I'm not sure how much they cover the Wenger's made before the merger with Victorinox, but it might be worth a visit.

Sorry. I don't have any info on your knife. Based on the can opener, I would guess it is pre 1950 manufacture.

Yes sir, I have and have taken it to a couple of specialty knife stores. Have had no luck in either place.

Those handle scales look like some very nice old horn. Either cattle horn or buffalo. Maybe.???

The can opener looks like WW2 era or even a little earlier. Most of the U.S. made military 'demo' knives had the more modern hook type can opener. My Camillus scout knife I got in chelate 1950's, had the hook type can opener.
