Hello - I just registered here a few minutes ago because I am now in Beijing, China on a buying trip and have found some nice knives which I cannot identify. Tianjin China is full of old European stuff, which is were i found these yesterday. They each have the same marking accompanied by a symbol of what appears to be two crossed keys. I just can't read the name. Does anyone know anything about these? I would appreciate any help anyone on this board can offer!

First knife is seperate - it is some kind of WW2 related knife??

sorry - realized now this is in the wrong category after looking around but I can't erase it. I'll link the photos to here, as I just figured out how.

Not from any English-speaking country, based on that inscription. And, I am far from an expert on anything, but that thumb-stud would make me think the knife is much more recent than WWII.

It's not a thumbstud (note the nail nick!), it's the stop on an old-style can-opener. You'll see the same thing on a lot of camp/military folders from the 30's-50's.

Thanks for the info - I wonder if those stops gave somebody the idea that eventually led to thumbstuds on blades?
