Recommendation? Help identifying a fixed blade knife

I have a fixed blade knife I inherited from my grandpa. He had a large collection of knives. Mostly traditional folders. I came across this knife and had never seen a stamp like this before. There isn't a tang stamp on either side. I didn't know if it was from a custom maker or just a cheap beater. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks

That's a handmade knife, not a cheapy. I don't know the maker though. Stylewise, I'd be looking at the late 80's - mid 90's for when it was built.
