For about sixteen years, Imperial Schrade issued commemorative knives in conjunction with the Federal Duck Stamp Program. This is one of those, as noted, from the conservation stamp issue year 1989-1990 (duck seasons spanned the new year). They were usually issued in carved/engraved wooden gift boxes and included a metal copy of the Federal Duck Stamp. The covers on this issue are goncalo Alvez hardwood. This one is the "DS3" issue and was limited to 6,000 pieces.
