Help identifying a knife

It's a homemade knife. the mark is too high up, in too odd a place, and cut off for it to be a factory or pro handmade knife. It might be a piece of reworked industrial bandsaw blade or a similar type tool (planer, etc....) blade that has been reworked into a blade.
