I have had this knife for a long time, but I have no idea what kind of knife it is. It has no company name, nor any text anywhere on the knife. Any ideas on what it could be?

Oh, and sorry for the terrible quality of the pictures. I actually have a very nice camera, I just have no idea how to use it correctly.

My guess is that the verdict on the knife is not good.

Here the picture is blurry either because you are too close to the object (maybe the case with #3) or that your exposure is too long [with respect to the stability of your hands].

My camera needs about 30 cm (1 foot) minimum to focus, and at that distance you need to turn on a special close-up function.

I pressume your camera is on the auto-setting with flash disabled. In order compensate for the poor lighting, the camera selects a longer exposure time. That is not a problem if everything is stationary. Here, with you holding the camera, you hands are not steady and thus it gets blurry.

You can photograph in a brighter area, use something to steady the camera, or turn the camera to manual with a faster exposure setting and then brighten the image later through software. If you play around with your camera, you can usually select smarter and more accurate settings than the auto-mode.

I once saw one like it on QVC with a bunch of similarly handled knives.

Most people or companies proud of their work would put a name on it, wouldn't ya think?
