My brother just gave me a barn find Case knife he found. Would like to know as much as I can about it, any help will be greatly appreciated. I have a fee pics of the tang stamps. What I have found is it is a model #65 Folding Hunter.

6265 SAB "folding hunter"..fairly common Case pattern. Based on the tang stamp and bolster shape, yours dates from 1965-1979 and would have jigged laminated wood handles. To date it more closely than that, would need to see the full tang stamp - is there a row of dots below the USA? If so, count them. No dots = 1965-69, 10 dots = 1970, 9 dots = 1971, etc.

No dots that I can see

On some of these knives these knives it is very difficult to see any dots as they disappear below the bolster in the full open position.

Yes, leave the blade at half-stop (90° to the frame) and see if the dots are visible.
