Picked up an old axe this weekend with single marking of DEFENDER on it. I only found one post on eBay of another one but it didn’t continue any info. Can anyone shed some light on this axe?
Very likely by Evansville, which was a branch of the American Fork & Hoe Co., or if made later on, was a brand name used by AF&H independent of Evansville, but it's most commonly seen as a brand of Evansville.
