Recommendation? Help identifying blade. New member

]Hey guys/gals, just joined.

I need help identifying this blade. No idea how to use pinterest. But here's the link I just made up somehow. https://pin.it/5AimcR1

I was given by my buddy's father who passed. I was told it was from Saudi Arabia, just cleaned it up a Little to find a maker's mark and found what looks like a rose?

The handle I was told was ivory, whether rhino or elephant I do not know.

And on the blade itself appears to be etched design or remote possibility Damascus steel. I'll post pics of blade, handle, mark, and sheath. If anyone can help point me in the right Direction that would be great. Google has told me barely anything even just searching the makers mark. Thanks in advance

You did fine. Not a bad looking example as so many tourist pieces are. Not sure what that handle is made of but it sets it off nicely overall. A lot of cultures carried similar knives, Moroccan, Ottoman, etc. Somebody who knows more will likely be along presently.
