I have no clue what type of scales these are, I've had them for yrs and were my wife's late stepfathers..

I have no intentions of ever using them and would like to maybe get an idea of a value so I can place them on the exchange..

I wet them with water to help accent..
Thanks... !!

yeah that's what I meant antler/ bone whatever.. :) just not my style..

I know its probably frowned on to discuss value, so if someone knows a fair price to ask for them please PM or email me..

thx...

They are stag scales and can be desireable if the size is usable and if the colour and texted are very close to being the same. The top one and third one down may be a match but hard to tell. Frank

From a photo, it is hard to tell jigged and dyed bone from stag. FWIW, They do look like stag, as far as I can tell.
Getting them too wet is not a good idea, but a one time dampening won't ruin them.
Stag or bone, they are not worth a lot. Best to toss them in with something else you plan to sell as a freebie, or take them to the next hammer-in to swap or put in the IronInTheHat.

thanks guy,

I didn't think they were worth much but didn't want to give them away either if they were.. :)

Never can tell with things anymore, I once sold a CD on ebay for $151 that I was hoping to get five bucks for.. :D
