Hi, can anyone help me identify this Buck model? Haven’t had any luck. Looks just like simple wood handles and their 420HC steel but not sure. Haven’t been able to pin down the model. Any help is appreciated

Thank you, that’s what I suspected. It’s selling for $35 new on Ebay so that low price has me suspicious as well. Until I get actual confirmation of the model name, I’m going to assume it’s a fake as well

I’ve found random sites selling that identical knife with no markings. It’s got a bit of a Buck Selkirk look to it if you like that style and want the real thing. I’d stay away.

The monkey is correct, it's a counterfeit.

Here's a tip- those torx screws with the star shape design are a dead giveaway for a Chinese made knife.

Fake.

eBay has been advertising for auto parts a lot lately.
I'm going to trust that I get a quality part when this crap is allowed to sell there?

That knife has been reported to eBay innumerable times.
Yet there it is.

The Selkirk is a Chinese made knife
Imported by Buck. I'm sure there's a difference.....

I chuckle at the irony of it.
🤔
