help identifying Camillus

Please help me identify this knife...large lockback, brass liners, tang stamp Camillus on one side, NY, USA on the other...searched online catalogs and can't find it. I can't post attachments but I can email pics to anyone who thinks they can help. Thank you. I've also posted this at MTO and EDCforums with pics.

What you have is a single bladed version of the 716S double lock back.

We never offered a single blade version that I can recall, so it must be an "end of days" clean up for cash. :barf:

No it is real; real sad!
Probably thrown together out of leftover parts and sold at a loss the Smoky Mountain in late 2006.

Parts thrown together when company was going out of business.
It was clearly assembled at Camillus.
 
Sorry...my reply in before your last post, Phil...a shame that this knife came about that way, but makes it a unique find for me...thanx again.
 
Phil, can you provide info on steel and scale material? Sorry to be a pain, but the google-fu not strong today.

Handle double dyed Delrin.

Yours was not polished enough on the handles to have the "stag-like" colors show through, should look more like this:

Phil,
I have seen another example of this one blade knife. Tom L. and I had one sent to us by a customer for repair. I was not familiar with this lock mechanism so Tom showed me how this knife works and told me about your patent.
