Help identifying h. boker solingen fixed blade

I am getting ready to move and was looking through some old memories and came across this fixed blade that my grandfather gave me. He was a Canadian WW2 vet and I'm pretty sure this is war era and possibly his personal weapon. Couldn't find anything identical online other than vague references to the 1920s and solingen closing during the war for repair. There are no navel markings and he was Canadian military not American Naval. Hoping someone here can give me more info about it!
