Help identifying hatchet

Hoping someone can help in giving me more info on this hatchet. Just got for 5$ on an online auction, but I can't seem to find any info on it.

Pal Brand is probably hardware store brand. What German company made it or what hardware store sold it I wouldn't know. Looks like a decent hatchet though and the price was good.
