Help identifying head- maybe old Snow and Nealey?

I picked this up today and very light sanding and hand wire brush shows me the letters of SNOW- the letters are very faint, are not all completely vertical and spaced a little uneven. But a lighted magnifying glass show them plainly- the N COULD be a M but I do not think so. Axe has pitting and gives the feel of being hand made as there are little irregularities. Head still on handle and weight over my 5lb scale.

I would appreciate anyones help in confirming what I think I have or opinions on what else it might be.
Thanks,
Bill

Cleaning is complete and the N/M now is a N I _ O With a double tall W a few more characters down.
The S disappeared, there is a 5 on bottom of poll and weight is 4lbs 8oz, edge to poll 7 1/8" heal to toe 5". I cleaned with light sand paper and fingers, oil and stiff wire brush and finally dental pick to get t he last of the gooped in dirt and rust out of letters. Looks great now and free of wood. Multifacted grind now mostly blended, a tiny bit of work on chamfering small dings on the eye holes and it is ready for a handle. Patina left expect for a few small high spots and edge bevel.
Still interested in any help on ID. I already had more than 7.00 worth of fun :)

Thanks,
Bill

Ummmm.....that Axe Head looks like a "dead ringer" for my (made in Oakland, Maine) SPILLER.
