Help identifying maker...

I'll defer to the experts on this one. But I was interested to find out who made this knife as well. It is a French Sabatier style knife. But what I gather, the name Sabatier was used on knives made by different companies, like Thiers for example. Sabatier knives did use a few lions in their logos, and elephant as well. That is about all I can help with, which is nil, I must admit. Someone will come along shortly who will have better info.

Looks like the symbol for Peugeot Cars, and I believe they also makes knives too. John

Nice catch, John! It does indeed look like the Peugeot logo. Not exactly the same, tho. Styled a little different....even different than the older logos. However, that's by far the closest I've seen. Google image search for "Peugeot car logo" and "Peugeot knife logo" don't give that exact logo, but Google doesn't know everything.
