Help identifying MCT or MTC mark in 1900 French made sword

Hi forum

About 1900 the Argentne army bought swords for its troops, in what is called the 1898 model.
Most were provided by known German factories, but some made for officers were provided by an elusive factory.
The markings are MTC or MCT sometimes with the word France attached.
Does any one recognize this marking?
Thanks in advance
Alberto from Argentina

This is the marking
