Hi Guys,

new user form Ireland here, trying to identify a Mini Culloden I saw at a martials arts seminar it was approx 4-5" long in the same style as the Cold
Steel Braveheart but as stated overall length inc. blade was 4-5" the handle
was exactly the same as the Braveheart and the sheath was plain and unadorned it was not a neck sheath either - does this ring a bell with anyone?

Thanks

Hi, Murph. Welcome to Bladeforums!

I've got a 5" Cold Steel Culloden myself. The 3.5" Mini Culloden was the same knife with a shorter blade, but both had the same short 3.5" handle, which is not the same handle as a Braveheart.

My Culloden sheath has an integrated belt clip. I recall seeing a picture of a Mini Culloden with a neck sheath carrying the knife inverted.

I have a 3.5" Mini Culloded, which I paid retail for from the CS site a year or two back. It's got a Kydex neck sheath, which will have the ballchain taken off, when I tuck it in my kilt hose.

Thanks Lads, I don't think this one was a Cold Steel blade though - there did not seem to be a trade mark I could see - having said that the guy who had it was a man called Tom Kier from the Sayoc Kali system and it's possible that he got it as a sample - as he's from the States - around Pittsburgh I think, I thought it might also have been one of the many knife manufacturers
you guys have over there. Thanks for the help though - great to be part of this.

Murph
