Hi All,

Not sure if a Machete is considered a Axe, Tomahawk, or Hatchet.... But since it is from Mineral Mountain Hatchet Works, I thought I would start here.

I have recently received a large collection of Axes / Hatchets / Knives, and I have three that are from MMHW.

I have been on the website of MMHW and I can't seem to ID the machete in this post for a model number.

The Blade is 13" long and the OAL = 19" long. The other 2 in the picture I believe are the small axe and pack axe (from the top down). It should be noted that my pack axe is only 12.5" long and not the 17" that is listed on their website, so I may have this one misidentified.

Thanks in advance.

Can you help me out.

I thought that was the closest to it, but the concave nature of the machete on the website confused me. The one I have is straight (or nearly straight). I am going to send an email to MMHW to see if they have the model numbers.

Have you tried to email Ted? Worth a shot.

I think you have models that he isn't producing now but he'll be able to give you the skinny on the deal.

He does good work, you're lucky to have them!

Thanks for the information. All of these will be up for sale soon. Please keep an eye on the exchange forums.

I did email them.

They stated the following

What I’m seeing is the small ax, the cleaver, and a one-off that’s not part of Ted’s regular catalog. It may have been a custom order, or it could have been a one-of that Ted posted on the “specials” area of the web site.
