My kids gave me a knife for my birthday. It's beautiful. The listing described the scales as wood. Anyone know what kind of wood this might be?

My kid is 18 months old.... and she already has gone for my crab shack slicer with dyed wood before.
If I get her hooked on busse, I don't have to worry about her getting into drugs. She will be too broke!
