In a recent trip to a nearby park, I've noticed a bunch of plants sprawling around as the weather warms up. I'm curious which plant that is as I'm not familiar with it (I've moved). Is this edible or useful for anything?
Looks like skunk cabbage that has yet to flower. Not edible (for humans, bears eat it). Roots are toxic and leaves are bad. Natives used it medicinally. Must be dried to be of use.
