Looks European with modern, not quite Americanized eye. Best case scenario: made in Canada, worst: made in Wuhan area (weird shape of the eye).bought this at a yard sale and was hoping someone could help identify it.

Some might call it Hudson Bay axe, but IMHO is not.

montreal pattern and weird eye . can also be french made. but it's thin and this kind of eye ...not sure!
can't read the stamp! must we see "cco!" or 1000 for 1 kg?
well i just checked my own montreal pattern by Goldenberg and i must agree the eye has the same form as yours!
