help identifying song

you folks seem to know every title, lyric, and performer, so i will try to have a song identified w/ almost no clues. i heard it on a soundtrack of a "let's party" type coming-of age movie. it sounds like lou reed in his very mellow period. song consists almost entirely of names and what they do. such as: jacky is an undertaker, jimmie is a hot rod maker'
sally likes to go church, martha can't get off her perch.

and so on--i just made those up. it is a long song, and creates a neat mood. i still love lou reed from my first hearing of 'her life was saved by rock and roll" 40 years ago.

thanks Esav.................sure thought i was going down hill too quickly, being certain i had heard lou reed doing the singing. glad i can now relax, knowing that so many others thought so also--i am only sliding at the regular pace.....................b
