Help identifying Spyderco folder

this one came before the stretch was born,and was sal glesser's design,truly a master piece.:)
 
Is it the Hunter it Progrip? Any idea approx year it would have been made? Blade says Aus8 stainless
 
If my post above is correct, and I think it is, according to Spydiewiki that model began production in 1995.

Edit: I just noticed your mention of Aus8 steel. That certainly throws a wrench into the works! Not sure if it's relevant but it looks like the patent numbers on the clip are the same. Hard to tell though from the Spydiewiki pic.

Definitely the FRN version of the Pro-Grip. Over the years it came in GIN-1, AUS-8, and VG-10. Earliest GIN-1 ones carried a C33 model number, later ones carried the same C13 model number as the SS Pro-Grip. A plain edged AUS-8 one is the second knife down in this pic...

Excuse my limited Spyderco knowledge but what does FRN stand for?
