Help identifying this axe head

Hello all,

I picked this axe up at an estate sale this weekend. I've cleaned it up some and would like to know more about it if possible. I've attached a couple pictures with some markings that I can't quite make out but hoping looking familiar to someone here.

It seems to say USM, which I believe is mentioned in the thread somewhere on here about m marked axes.

It is most likely a late production Mann, probably from the 80's.
